Refund Policy

Effective Date: 24/01/2026

ELARC™ maintains the following refund policy for certification fees:

$1,000 Deposit
REFUNDABLE:

  • Your $1,000 deposit is fully refundable if:

  • Your property does not meet Phase 1 eligibility requirements after our review

  • We determine your application cannot proceed for reasons within our control

  • Refund processed within 48 hours.

NON-REFUNDABLE:
Your deposit is non-refundable if:

  • You are approved but choose not to pay the remaining balance

  • You fail to pay the remaining balance within 7 days of approval

  • You voluntarily withdraw after approval

  • You provide false or misleading information

  • You violate our Terms and Conditions

Refundable (minus $1,000 administrative fee) if:
Before Certification Issued:
Your deposit is non-refundable if:

  • You cancel within 48 hours of final payment AND

  • No materials have been delivered AND

  • No space evaluation has

After Certification Issued:
NO REFUNDS once you receive

  • ELARC Living™ certification

  • Preparation Manual

  • Protection Manual

  • Directory listing

  • Verification access

  • All sales are final after certification services are delivered.

What Is NOT Refundable

No refunds for:

  • Inability to find residents or generate rental income

  • Changes in your personal circumstances

  • Changes in local zoning or HOA rules after certification

  • Resident problems or disputes

  • Market conditions or dissatisfaction with results

  • Failure to complete your setup checklist

  • Accessing proprietary guides, manuals, or toolkits

  • Why: We provide certification services, not income guarantees. You are responsible for finding residents and managing your property.

Hardship Protection (Not a Refund)
If you cannot find a resident, you may qualify for Hardship Protection:

  • $500 at 6 months (if no resident secured)

  • $500 at 12 months (if still no resident)

  • Year 2 renewal waived ($1,500 value)

  • Total: $2,500 in support (not a refund — you keep your certification)

  • Requirements: Active marketing and TVI interview participation required.

Annual Renewal Fees

Annual renewal fees ($1,500/year) are non-refundable once paid.

If you don't renew:

  • Certification expires

  • Directory listing removed

  • Verification access ends

  • You must remove all ELARC branding

To request a refund (if eligible):

Include:

  • Your name

  • Application/certification number

  • Reason for refund request

  • Payment confirmation

  • Response time: 3–5 business days

Chargebacks
Important: Filing a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • Violates our Terms and Conditions

  • May result in immediate certification revocation

  • May result in permanent disqualification from ELARC programs

  • Contact us first to resolve payment disputes.
